Heartsaver CPR and First Aid Training - Course Explanation

Healthcare provider

The BLS healthcare Provider course teaches CPR skills for helping victims of all ages {including doing Ventilation with a Barrier Device, A bag Mask device and oxygen.}; use of and Automated External Defibrillator {AED} and relief of a foreign body airway obstruction. It’s intended for participants who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in hospital and out of hospital. For certified or non certified Licensed or non licensed professionals.

Course length: 4 hours

Intended audience: Healthcare providers such as MDs, nurses, paramedics, EMT'S respiratory therapist, PT’s and OT’s Physicians Assistants residents, Nursing students, police officers and other allied healthcare professionals.

Heart Saver CPR

The Heart saver cpr course is a course that teaches lay rescuers how to recognize and treat life threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and chocking for a adult, child and infant victims. Students will learn to recognize signs of a heart attack and stroke in adults and breathing difficulties in children.

Course length: 3 hours

Intended audience: All Lay rescuers ,such as employee’s in the workplace, day care centers, babysitters, firefighters, police, airline professionals, security guards, family members of patients at high risk for sudden cardiac death, and other lay rescuers, and those who might need to respond to an emergency.

Family and Friends CPR

This course is designed to teach people who want to care for their family member and friends as well. In this class you will perform CPR for an Adult, Child, and Infant. In this class you will learn how to use a face barrier for the adult, child, and infant victims.

Heart Saver First Aid Course

The heart saver First aid course teaches rescuers to effectively recognize and treat adult and children in emergencies that are critical within the first five minutes until emergency medical services arrive to assist you.

Course length: 3 hours

Intended audience: Persons assigned to respond to emergencies to respond to emergencies in the workplace and community. Some rescuers are required to take this class as part of their employer’s efforts to comply with ASHA regulations.

Examples: corporate employees, sercurity guard, airline Personal, lifeguards.
